Tag! You're It!
This game originated with Sarah Hirschi - (I will have to see how to add their family blog onto ours) Anyway, since I am a NEW "blogger" this is challenging my skills a bit. But, here it goes. I think the jest of the game is to share my "favorities" in 7 categories and then name 7 other people tag for them to do the same either on their "blog" or via an e-mail.
Here it goes:
Right now . . . of the top of my head and subject to change-
Favorites:
Phone or Video chatting with our kids and grandkids (especially those far away!)
Playing with or hearing about kids/grandkids
Curling up with a good book (scriptures, motivational, cookbook, (and marking pen)
Looking out the window and seeing the Olympic mountains or Straight of Juan d'Fuca
Completing "another day of exercises"
(I really could go on, but I will stop here!)
Dreams:
Being "full time" wife, mom and grandmother
Taking a "sister" trip to St. George
Going on a Sr Mission
Getting my pictures/journals and geneology organized
Life Accomplishments:
hmmmmmm staying alive, healthy and happy!
Foods:
Eliza's potatoe soup!
Hobbies:
hmmmmm I don't have any ones I really do regularly
Reading, life planning, visiting with family :)
Dislikes:
When I fall short of my own intentions
Sarcasim . . . . I don't get it!
Loosing things!
I think that I am to pick 7 others to be "IT" So here goes: Julie, Mishana, Melia, Melissa, Dawn, Rebecca, Lynnette,
Hope to hear from you soon!

St. George Trip
May 17-20, 2007 We took a fun weekend get-a-way with Paul, Sarah and the boys to St. George. We had a great time! Lots of SUN and dry hot weather made for great swimming! We also viewed Brigham Young's Winter Home, Jacob Hamblin's home, visited some friends from Sequim - The Zeddies and Blaine's folks, Blaine and Joyce Wilson in Santa Clara. It was so fun to get to know the boys (Noah and Gabe) better and get caught up with Paul and Sarah!
I personally fell in love with this dry dessert country. The rock formations, endless sky, clear clean air and the ever present view of the beautiful temple really gave me a peaceful and secure feeling for some reason. It make me think of my ancestors and come to find out, both my grandparents (Earls & Princes) were pioneers in "Dixie". We will be back!
Brent & Eliza's Visit
Grandma Fillmore Services
Grandma Fillmore's passing was a sad/happy time. We are sad not to have her here with us and we are happy she is free from the restrictions of old age. We appreciated so much being able to spend a week with Karl's brothers and sisters and extended family to relive the memories of and honor their mother. We especialy appreciated having Melissa, Blair, Mishanna & Mike, and Melia & Justin there with us.
