Arizona Grandma Trip!
Being a Grandma is the prize we get for raising kids! And I thoroughly love it. This trip was to Queen Creek Arizona to visit Shayne, Bradshaw, Paul and Zan. Here is a photo journal of some of the highlights.

| We finally did it! We had an awesome Fillmore (sibling & spouses) Family Reunion in Sequim, WA.Thank you Karen for helping us pull this together! Everyone arrived safely and the weather cooperated 100%. Lots of sunshine, a little breezy now and then and temperatures mostly just right! Highlights included a boat ride in the Strait of Juan de Fuca, fishing trip, lunch at the Alderwood Cafe Bistro, golfing, cheering BYU to victory over U of W, lavender farm tour, "window shopping" in Sequim's Open Market, views of the Tall Ships at Port Angeles Marina, and of course buying confections at the down town boutique's. Not to be forgotten was the marshmallow roast with the sharing of memories and laughter amidst the smoke and starry night and ginger snaps and homemade bread and cinnamon rolls (prepared by Sherry) and scrumptious meals. Here are a few pictures from our cameras . . . I will include others if you send me your e copies. Thanks! We miss and love you all so much!  |

Memorial Day 2009
Hi Everyone -
Here are some pic's from our Memorial Day in CDA. Family pics include Mom, Dad, Julie, Me, Garth, his girlfriend, Carina (who just had a successful kidney transplant last month!), her two children, (very nice), and mother, Eve.
The day was perfect and the food grand. It was a good day for all!
Dad even told some stories about family members who had served in the armed forces, including himself. We are very appreciative to live in this free country and to those who have given their lives and time to help preserve it.
We hope you all had a great time as well.
